How far do mason and leafcutter bees fly from the bee house?

During their daily search for pollen, nectar, and nest-building material, both our mason and leafcutter bees may fly a 300ft (100m) radius from their bee house. This is an area of about 6 acres.

When mason and leafcutter bees are dispersing to nest, they may travel between 0.5-2 miles before settling on a nesting site.
